My sister-in-law once told me the story of a ghostly white Persian cat that haunted the bedroom of a house where she used to live in with her family, in Westfield Grove, Idle, Bradford. Herself and sister shared the back bedroom of this semi-detached house and on numerous occasions, when the girls had settled for bed, a large white fluffy cat would appear and walk round the room staring at them.
